National Program Management – Wireless Infrastructure Upgrade National Project Management In-House

PTS’ Senior Program Managers were selected by a national wireless communication provider to provide in-house consulting services to the National Program Management office. PTS was tasked with developing program plans for new wireless networks in 28 markets across the country, dealing with project scopes, schedules and budgets for the national rollout of new wireless technologies. PTS was also tasked with providing educational courses to market-level staff in order to successfully implement newly developed processes. Successes included:

Developed and implemented a transport program that ensured the timely provision of DS3s and T1s to optimize networks, while minimizing OpEx impacts
Created a market optimization program plan that laid out the optimization process, established timelines, identified required resources, and established budgets
Established a program to educate markets on the optimization process
Created a "best practices" program to gather information derived from each market's optimization experiences and share it with upcoming markets
